Our team, composed of experienced professionals and veterans, is dedicated to providing compassionate care and guidance. Our community of staff and peers makes Foundations to Freedom a trusted choice for veteran recovery housing in DeLand and beyond.

Our staff is trained to address the specific needs of veterans, offering tailored support that promotes healing and transformation.

peer support specialist

Each client receives a case manager who will develop a wellness and recovery action plan based on the client’s specific recovery needs.

support groups

Daily mutual support group meetings provide encouragement, accountability, and connection as clients navigate addiction recovery.

goal Setting

Clients work closely with their case managers to set and attain new goals for each stage of their recovery journey.

recovery sponsor

Each client is encouraged to get and retain a sponsor to provide guidance, support, structure, and accountability during the early years of recovery.

TRANSITION Plan

Case Managers work closely with each client to help them create a plan for life after living in a recovery residence.

ongoing support

Foundations to Freedom offers all alumni 6 months of peer support and case management at no cost, plus access to low-cost housing.
